Cláudia is the former Communications and Media Manager at EBN. Cláudia (Portuguese) joined EBN in January 2014. Since then she contributed to communications strategy and execution as well as managing all things media for EBN, including relations with the press. She specialises in social media management, having been responsible for implementing the organisation’s first steps into the world of social networks.
From January 2014 to July 2015 at EBN, Cáudia focused her work on dissemination strategy and execution for EBN’s EU projects portfolio, co-leading the success of engaging over 400 startups in open calls for mentoring and incubation in the fields of ICT and Creative & cultural Industries.
Before coming to EBN Cláudia was a trainee at the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Portugal, and at the European Commission in DG Enterprise and Industry, in the unit leading SME Internationalisation. She completed a Master’s degree in European Studies from Maastricht University, following her undergraduate studies in International Relations at University of Coimbra. Her passions are media, digital marketing, startups, tech, art and politics.
Cláudia is currently working as an External Communications Consultant for EASME - the EU Executive Agency for Small and Medium Enterprises.
