I started my professional career as a Software Engineer at Siemens in Germany. Upon reaching my MBA at the University of Augusburg in collaboration with the Katz Business School in Pittsburgh, I joined Teleroute, a Wolters Kluwer business. In the role of CMO, I developed my passion for building & developing online businesses and especially double sided market places. As COO of Immoweb, a Axel Springer company, I further developed my expertise in digital classifieds, focusing on product innovation and pricing tactics.
Starting up a new business for road transport optimisation at Wolters Kluwer Transport Services, was my first entrepreneurial experience. Ever since, I am coaching and mentoring tech startups and actively involved in the Belgian Startup EcoSystem, as Boardmember of startups.be.
Today, I am developing DataScouts, a Data-as-a-Service startup analysing and visualising the ecosystem connected businesses are operating in. We help companies to understand their value network and optimise their go to market implementation.
I act as business consultant, sparring partner and strategist in Digital Media, Digital Classifieds and Future Internet. I am a Change Agent with the simple purpose of making change happen in a meaningful, profitable and efficient way.
