Eva studied Industrial Engineering at the University of Oviedo, and has an MBA from the Polytechnic University of Madrid. She worked in the venture capital market for 8 years, and currently she works as general manager in a Business Innovation Centre dedicated to develop New based Technology companies in the Principality of Asturias (Spain).

During the time she worked in venture capital company, she carried out two different work tasks: Firstly as investing director, and after that, as investing department Coordinator. She has been member of 13 boards of directors from participated companies until Today.

She also participated in the setting up of ASBAN (Asturias Business Angels Network), where she is board member. She is also Vice-President of ANCES (Spanish network of Business Innovation Centre).

Additionally she collaborates in several masters from University of Oviedo, and FENA (Asturias Business School) as teacher of Venture Capital and Investing Decisions tasks.

"I am collaborating with EBN since 2005, since I got General Manager role in BIC ASTURIAS. I participated in several meetings in Brussels, and the BIC I represent applied in 2008, 2009 and 2010 to the Euroleaders Award, become finalist in the three times.

In 2008 I participated as a speaker in a meeting named “financing your BIC, choosing the right model”, and in 2009, BIC ASTURIAS participated in EBN CASE STUDY.

Related to evaluations of BICs, I visited SINES TECNOPOLE in Sines-Portugal in September’08, to evaluate their condition as a new BIC. In November’09, I visited BIC KYMI in Kouvola and Kotka - Finland in order to evaluate their maintenance as a BIC. And finally, in February of 2011, I visited TAGUS VALLEY in Abrantes-Portugal, to evaluate this organization as a new BIC. Additionally, I visited Lappeerante Innovation in order to present them EBN and its services, because they were thinking in apply to become a BIC."
