Sary completed a Masters in Development Projects and International Development (specialist in Project Management) from the Polytechnic University of Valencia (UPV) after achieving a degree in Business and Management Administration in the University of Ghent and UPV.
She was involved in development projects focused on Competitiveness and Local Economic Development in Latin America where she was working on a proposal of improvement regarding the methodology of the Emerging and Sustainable Cities Initiative (ESCI) created by the Inter- American Development Bank (IDB).
She also worked in the department of Corporate Social Responsibility in a cooperative located in Costa Rica. Her main projects were 'Guardians of Water' (related to oil recycling) and 'Solidarity Exchange Units' (focused on the preference for local consumption). As a qualitative research analyst she worked there in a participatory diagnosis based on the problem of the generational structure of the cooperative that included participative activities.
At the EBN Sary will contribute to support EU-BIC services team with certification, benchmarking and events.
