Established in November 2014, KWORKS serves as a hub of entrepreneurship activity at Koç University’s Sisli campus in Istanbul, helping technology startups grow into sustainable, scalable, successful ventures. KWORKS connects aspiring technology entrepreneurs to valuable resources, consulting experience and potential investors to set them on the right path.

The “Pre-Acceleration Program” is designed for early stage entrepreneurs who are looking to explore their ideas a bit further but are not ready to start a business yet. It offers free desk space at KWORKS with connection to the KWORKS community and one-on-one mentoring and guidance from KWORKS experts.
The “Acceleration Program” was created with promising early stage startups in mind, helping them explore the leap toward scaling their own startups. It offers free exclusive access to the KWORKS center and community, private office space and bi-weekly meet-ups to help entrepreneurs develop their business models and test their assumptions while getting feedback and insights from mentors and potential investors.
The “Incubation Program” addresses entrepreneurs who have already built their startups and are ready to explore the market. It offers free access to the KWORKS Center and open offices, technical training, weekly update and track-progress meetings as well as access to mentors and angel networks.
KWORKS LAB is a technology laboratory for entrepreneurs where they can grow hardware startup ideas into “Industry 4.0” solutions and sustainable, scalable, successful ventures.
The Lab is built by KWORKS Entrepreneurship Research Center with a grant from the Ministry of Development & Istanbul Development Agency.
KWORKS LAB carry out a supportive program that starts from idea to seed investment stage. Business development and one-on-one mentorship support are being offered for entrepreneurs at KWORKS LAB, alongside technical mentorship.
During the 3-month intensive program, the entrepreneurs get an experience about design thinking, product design, rapid prototyping, business development and scaled manufacturing. They also can have an opportunity to develop their products with fully equipped lab which is open 24/7.
KWORKS also aims to be the hub of maker community for spreading “Do-it-Yourself” culture by giving seminars & workshops for hardware entrepreneurs with these supportive activities.
