ACE Creative winner and policy debate at Creative Business Cup

For the second year running, ACE Creative and the Creative Business Cup (CBC) have partnered to bring 15 European startups mixing ICT & Creativity to pitch their businesses to an expert jury in Copenhagen.

After much deliberation the jury shortlisted five finalists to pitch on the main stage at CBC on 21 November. Jooki and Smallteaser from Belgium, JumpDrop and VenueBooker from the United Kingdom and SeenOnSet from Ireland will battle it out for the overall award.

But finally we got the name of the winner: Jooki and their Jukebox for kids was the final #ACEcreative winner.

During the day, the participants had the chance to participate into a very interesting Policy Debate on "Scaling up Tech Startups in the Creative Industries: opportunities and challenges", moderated by CBC founder Rasmus Wiinstedt Tscherning. Following a keynote addressed by Kaja Kallas MEP, tech entrepreneurs, innovators and business support practitioners from the sector will be invited to share their best and worst practice experiences in the field and to present their recommendations for concrete support measures to foster a thriving and connected, ICT-driven creative industries ecosystem in Europe.

If you could not attend the event in Copenhagen but would still like to have your say and help shape the next generation of creative industries business support? Visit www.acecreative.eu between 25 November and 22 December and tell us what’s on your wishlist as a tech entrepreneur, innovator, investor or business support practitioner active in the creative sector.
