Women across the EU (or country associated to Horizon 2020) who have founded a successful company bringing innovation to market while benefitting from R&I funding from the public or private sector can apply to EU Prize for Women Innovators by November 15.
Four cash prizes will be awarded to the most innovative women entrepreneurs:
First Prize: €100 000
Second Prize: €50 000
Third Prize: €30 000
Rising Innovator: €20 000
In order to win one of the four cash prizes, the product or service the female entrepreneur presents must be original and marketable, creating economic and societal impact, while at the same time the entrepreneur needs to demonstrate how her leadership role in the company was crucial for its success and how she can potentially influence and empower future female entrepreneurs and innovators.
